I like to think of myself as a nice guy. I try not to curse at the other team, t-bag, try my best to always say “good-game” and I try not to be a dick (unless you're smack talking and lose horribly). Now I also understand people have a burning desire to play with celebrities and subsequently want to meet them, be their friends, whatever... I'm not calling myself a celebrity, more or less a misconstrue oddity.
Now here's the part where I get nasty. What I don't get about today is why the fuck people cannot accept NO for an answer! Is this a hard concept, an unreasonable demand, is it like I'm asking for your kidney or what? I wake up and go to work like everyone else, I come home and want to enjoy some Halo 3... first, one friend request, two... then three, then five at a time. Seriously people, if I don't know you... then I'm not going to add you. Call me an elitist asshole, then that's who I am. I don't want to one versus one you, because it's not going to get you out of being blacklisted and no one gives a flying fuck if you're better than me.
I don't like to block communications but lately I've been having to do it all the more often. I don't want to play with you, don't ask for invites to my party, don't ask the people I'm playing with for invites and jesus... if I've declined your request once what in the hell makes you think I'd accept it for the fifteenth time?! I just don't know what's wrong with people anymore.... I do my best to answer some questions as inane as they are or as repetitious as they have been over the past six months. But really, is it that hard to to accept no for an answer?

It's nice that Bungie awarded it to us... But really, it's been completely blown out of proportion. People make it out to be life or death situation... when all it is a silly graphic.
I'll admit that when I first saw it i thought it was kinda cool. but for some people, it seems to be all they think about. when you think about it, it's both a blessing and a curse. do you find when you play people ask you to help them get recon armour? that would annoy me so much, eh?
That must seriously suck. I hate a lot of the people on Live the way it is,let alone if I had recon. I do admit that I do want recon but I'm not one of those guys that spams mods and Bungie and creates topics about how I "Wants ze reconz!!!!1!11!!!one!!!" it gets pretty old after a while hearing all of those people complain about how Bungie should give it to everyone. Like you said all it is is a silly graphic.
